Progress on A Quaker Study has been slow lately, but there has been progress nevertheless. :)
Four motifs south of the alphabet line is all I've done lately. The black overdye is working out well, but I think there's not enough of it to finish the project. Unfortunately it's a limited edition from The Gentle Art called chimney sweep, so I'll be on the lookout for a close alternative. I have one option in my stash, but will be looking for others too.
This afternoon I had an unexpected visit from my son, Geoff. We had such a good time catching up with each other! Such visits have been far too few since he moved out and I really miss him. Lucky for me, his housemate is getting married and Geoff will be moving from Richland back to Kennewick very soon. Perhaps, with a little encouragement, he'll come by more often. :D

I have it, but I'll be darned if I can tell these colors apart...
This limited edition GAST looks fabulous with the other colour, so I hope you will be able to find a replacement, Von!
How lovely that your son is moving back to Kennewick. Makes a mother's heart burst, I'm sure :o) Is Kirsten back to her old self?
Quaker Study is coming along beautifully. It'll be gorgeous all framed and hanging on your wall. :)
