Motif Unfinished

My goal to finish this motif last night was not met as the frogs came to visit. Oh well, I'm back on track now. While reverse stitching I considered adding another color to this design, and have decided to add touches of darker colors/black here and there to heighten the contrast and add interest. There should be an appropriate overdye in my stash! :D

This morning Kevin and Kyle are excused from school to compete at the regional DECA conference here in Kennewick. They left the house looking pretty sharp! Regardless how they place in the competition, it will be a good experience for them. I was very involved in a sister group when I was in high school which really changed my little world!

Good luck boys!

Hi Von!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Love the Quaker Study - I do like Carriage House designs! Your boys are too cute. We had DECA when we were high school in NC, too (many moons ago) LOL. I didn't realize it was still around. Definitely a good experience all around.

Those are some fine looking fellows you're got there. I'm sorry about the frogs, but your motif looks great!
