Update on Margaret's NRR

My stitching time is dedicated to getting Margaret's NRR finished. Unfortunately, it's taking me longer than I'd hoped with all the color changes and confetti stitching, but the effect is nice and works with Vonna's front porch! I'll keep working away and should get it in the mail by the weekend, or Monday at the latest.

Our robins are back and we know that at least one of the eggs has hatched. We can peer through the cracks in the deck flooring above the nest to keep track. Mama robin picked a great spot for her nest, her wisdom especially noted during last night's thunderstorm that moved over our neighborhood. The rain and hail momentarily hurled down from above, but mama and her babies were well protected under the deck!

Your RR piece is lovely and will really fit in well with Vonna's stitching. I've got quite a few of those old BH&G books and drag them out every now and then.
It sounds like your robin will be a repeat resident with such a cozy spot!
Congrats on your recent anniversary! Glad to hear you had a lovely evening. Those birthday celebrations looked like a lot of fun too! Your grandson is adorable.

Very lovely stitching - though I can well imagine how time-consuming it is. And that robin! I love this picture!

It's a beautiful addition to the RR and makes a Super transition...I worried a lot about that when I did that square...but you made it look effortless and I'm sure it wasn't! (in fact I'm about 100% positive it wasn't! - SORRY!)

Very lovely design and stitching.
Ah, we have bird 'condos' all around the house in the shrubs this year. It's kinda annoying because when we walk by, out they fly-scares the pants off of you!
And thanks for your comments about my proposed, hopefully in the future, trip out west. Yes, please keep me in mind if we go to Oregon. : )

That is going to look lovely...though the going may be slow! Happy Anniversary (a little belatedly)! Hope you have many more happy years together!

I love what you are doing for Margaret's NRR and I am sure she will too. It's worth the wait.
Your Robin pic is so cute, glad they survived the storms, hope all is well with you too. Happy Stitching, CJ

The RR piece is lovely, I do like that kind of design.=)

Robins, how sweet! I call my beby sister 'the Robin' and she comes to visit tomorrow, (and loves red too, so it's quite apt), so it was a well-timed visit to your blog!

OK, must dash so I can get her CoS pillow sewn up and showcased on blog tomorrow before we collect her.=)

Nice job on Margaret's RR - I like how you pulled the huge house to the right into more perspective by adding some "distance" in yours!
