Friday my baby girl turned eleven years old. Un-be-lievable! She had a couple of friends over for the afternoon, Becca and Kara. Kara spent the night and on Saturday I took the two of them to our brand new Sonic drive-in for lunch and a little shopping at the mall. On Sunday afternoon all the family converged here for a combined celebration for Kirsten and Geoff, whose birthday is Thursday. So really, the weekend was dedicated to parties and preparation for parties.So Vonna's rr sat neglected a tad bit until yesterday when I was able to put the final touches to it.

Stitching this for Vonna was pure fun, especially blending my square with Vonna's center. It's looking so great. Once this piece is completed, it's going to be a show-stopper! Now off to the post office, and on to the next project.

And let me tell you...that I cannot believe the wonderful stitching you did for my RR...I mean I was blown out of the water, I called my Mom the other night specifically to lead her to your blog to see it and as we looked at the pictures on the internet and talked on the phone about it together I was telling her how I started crying when I saw it, and my Mom said...it's just perfect, Keith isn't bald though...and we laughed and I said...and I think she's stitched me skinnier than I really am! My Mom laughed and said...we won't get technical on her though! LOL! Thank you so much! You couldn't have done it any better and you stitched us all blonde too! I'm sure that's not a coincidence!
