More Paper Crafting

Stamp club was last Friday evening and Sandy had two great projects for us. First off was this cute little basket. I've done lots of these easy baskets before so I breezed through it. Forgot to bring brads for the flower centers so I just dotted the centers with a black marker - not bad in a pinch. :)
Next we made this cute little picture wallet.

I'm going to have to send some digital pics over to Costco to fill up the wallet.

Melanie and Kevin have been coughing, and sneezing for the last week, and now this morning I've been afflicted with the dreaded cold. So far no coughing, but headache, stuffy, sneezes, sore throat - just like at least half the population. Can't complain tho, if this is as bad as it gets.

Good things are ahead for us this week: a fundraiser for 2nd Harvest to attend on Wednesday, Melanie's 20th birthday on Friday, Good Friday service, coloring eggs and hunt with Kirsten and my grandsons on Saturday, probably, then Easter on Sunday, plus the normal weekly activities. I don't have time to be sick!

Hope your week is getting off to a better start than mine! Time for more tea and a nap. :)

So you're a wizard with fabric and threads *and* with paper? Is there anything you can't do, Vondalee?
Hope your cold disappears soon! My colds never amount to much either. I sometimes wish I would get really sick, just to get it out of my system!

The paper crafts look like fun! One of our local craft shops has just started offering some classes but I haven't had a chance to check them out yet.
Hope the cold doesn't stick around long. Get lots of rest.

Happy Easter!!

Those are some great projects. I particularly love the picture wallet. The flower on the front just really catches the eye.
