So with I-90 closed over Snoqualmie Pass, yesterday DH and I took the Columbia Gorge route over to Suquamish, Washington, which is just across the Sound from Seattle. It's the long way, but much more relaxing to travel in rain showers than snow blasts! We made a stop at the Apple store in downtown Portland to have the Geniuses take a look at my malfunctioning ipod nano. Good thing I made my reservation with the guys ahead of time via their website or else I would have had a two hour wait! But they were very personable, friendly and helpful and we walked out with a replacement - yay!!
We're here for a Super Bowl party that the insurance agents association DH belongs to hold each year. Football fans we're not, but it's a fun party!
I've been working on that christening gown. Here is the embroidery on the sleeves. Check back for more updates soon.

You're lucky you made it through the Gorge! I heard I-84 was closed for awhile too!
Nice looking boullions! I think I'll skip the super bowl tomorrow. Don't much care about it this year.
