November Blooms

Some plants in my garden apparently haven't gotten the memo about it being fall, almost winter.

Till the hard frost comes, I'll savor the last bits of color to carry me through the dark winter days. :)

The deleted post was from me- it was full of typos . It may be time to go to bed. Anyway.. isn't is amazing how hardy the odd bloom is? My fuchsia still has a couple of flowers on it and we are expecting snow/rain tonight. I bought a few winter type plants for my pots on Saturday. I even managed to plant a few this afternoon.

How pretty! I've always wanted to try to grow carnations but they never seemed to work out for me. That rose is gorgeous!

Sadly, I don't see any of those beautiful flowers blooming over here in the East coast.

The rose is a gorgeous color! We did have a hard frost and most of my flowers bit the dust. The leaves are still clinging tight to the chestnuts though. I was walking around the yard and it made me feel better to see all the things that I have done out there.

Yes, isn't it lovely to have a bit of colour left in the garden?!! We have a slightly confused daylily in our garden who refuses to except the inevitable... :o) But it's colours are beautiful and I look at it every day!
