Yippee!! I put the finishing stitches into Rowyn's NRR last night.
Adapting Elizabeth's Designs "Old Stone Church" to fit the limitations of the square was a challenge, but gave me a great sense of accomplishment. I especially enjoyed stitching these trees in the rice stitch using WDW Scuppernong. . .
and the hedge in WDW Collards
The most difficult design challenge was this stained glass window. Instead of thinking of stitches over one or two, try three or four! Worked out pretty well, I think.
So now I must get right to work on the next one Debby's, which Heather mailed to me well before the mailing date! But there are a couple other things calling to me as well. I need to bead the "Fine Linens" piece, and several Christmas ornaments from the JCS ornament issue must be done. Then I really have to get the sewing machines running on Christmas projects, and a very special christening gown for my granddaughter who is scheduled to arrive around January 6, 2008!!
