A Little Bit More

Progress, that is. I'm really enjoying this little design, even with all the size challenges I've faced. The hedge needs to grow a bit more, gravestones added, and a few hills and trees stitched in the background. Oh yes, and a bit of finishing around the stained glass window needs to be done. I'm feeling pretty confident about getting it ready to be mailed by the end of the week. Rowyn, I hope you like what I've added to your village!

DH informed me this morning that Fritz awakened him only once during the night! Of course, he is 14 weeks old, and should be gaining better muscle control. We are crate training him and keeping him close to us when he's not in the crate. So far it's worked pretty well at keeping him from making messes in the house (altho there have been a couple). The kids give him a real good workout at lunchtime and after schooltime, so he naps while we're working at our desks. I think he's going to grow into a wonderful little companion. :)

The weather has been so nice lately, I've been going out into the back yard and doing a little weeding and mulching in the flower border. About an hour an afternoon is all I can spare, but it's something. And Carol - the irises you sent me are sending out new shoots and I'm thinking they'll flower beautifully next spring!

That's a lovely design :)

The RR is looking great, I'm sure Rowyn will love it. Fritz is a dear, although I can't begin to understand the male aural capacity; it seems to be dysfunctional in my husband as well!!

Hi Von,
What a beautiful church !!!!

Your comment at my blog could have been written by my Mom as she has said the same thing to me about the rain and moving to Seattle. :)

And lovely stitching. I did a couple of churches in the NRR I was in and they were enjoyable to do.

Fritz! What a super name, and what a cute little grey ball of fluff he is! Awww, and just when I had managed to convince myself I didn't need a dog in the house.
Rowyn's neighboorhood church is looking lovely!
