Still Working

The hurrier I go, the behinder I get!

That classic motto couldn't be more apt, especially seeing it played out in my life recently. This time of year brings even more chores to my to do list, especially watering the lawn and garden as we don't have an automated underground system. The automated system is me hauling around a garden hose with a sprinkler attached. One of these days . . . sigh . . .

Today is M Day - Mailing Day - for the Hello Neighbor round robin groups. Sadly, I've had to request a few extra days, which Vonna and Cindy so graciously gave me. And coincidentally, Heather, who is mailing to me, also needs a bit more time, lol! So I got extra time and what do I do today? Run around town! Errands just couldn't be put off any longer; I kept hearing mutterings from the other people in the house that we were out of bread, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. We also have a big birthday bash tomorrow morning to celebrate DD Mystie's 25th birthday, which is today, and DGS Jaeger's 2nd birthday, which was May 27 - and we were in Boise. Following said bash, we have a graduation bash to drop in on, and in the evening DH and I are going to try to slip away to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. I'm tired already.

Anyway, I'll share an update of the progress I've made on my RR. I think it's coming along rather well, and spending some quality time with it on Sunday should make it mailable on Monday!

Here's to a productive weekend for us all!

Happy 28th dear friends! My, it sure doesn't seem like it's been that long! Hope you have a wonderful celebration, just you and Gary...

Birthday hugs to Mystie and Jaeger too!

P.S. Your house is looking very sweet! I love your modifications to Cottage Garden! You should send a photo to Thea, she'd love to see what you've done.

YOur RR is wonderful!! All those little flowers- and what is the stitch on the roof? I am going to have to steal that. please let me know. Cause I know you need another chore. Mom's ARE the original automated, electric, systems and appliances- and the read my mind and don't forget to deliver it service as well -LOL- good thing we love them isn't it. Don't work too hard. Your birthday must be coming up pretty soon as well.

Happy 28th Anniversary, Von. I've been admiring all these neighbourhood RRs everyone in the blogosphere is stitching. I like yours especially those specialty stitches.

Hi Von!
How sweet of you to leave this message on my blog. I am very touched.
I have had problems with my emails and lost all my data. Though I still have the same incredimail, I have also created a gmail address that is far more reliable and that I check almost everyday.

I hope you get enough time for yourself to rest a little, busy mom! (that's a euphemism!)
Hugs to you and your family, my dear friend.
