Hold on to Your Hats!

Prepare yourselves for a vision of glorious beauty. . . for in my mailbox a few short days ago a package from Helen was placed. Helen celebrated her first blog anniversary by sending a couple of her first visitors a gift of friendship, and I was one of them!

Now, you know Helen settles for nothing short of perfection, and somehow she felt the fob fell short - can you see the imperfection? Neither can I. :-D So as my main gift she stitched the sweetest pin cushion ever, all made from the most beautiful of silks, linen, lace and beads. Helen regales us will all the details in this post. I'm overwhelmed by all the thought and time she put into creating these small items of stitched beauty, and honored to have them gracing my embroidery basket, which at one time belonged to my grandmother.

Thank you so much, dear Helen!
