Once a Week

Whether or not I have anything to grand to say, I should post an update at least once a week. I really haven't done much since returning from Vegas, altho I have stitched a little at the orthodontist's office, which I visited twice. And we'll be back again next week for a quick check on the twins' palate spreaders that were "installed". The front desk gals have offered me a job since I spend so much time there anyway, lol!

Tomorrow Kyle should get the cast off his arm. Friday can't come fast enough for him. He's missed homeschool p.e. all month, being relegated to exercise with Mom on the bikes and elliptical machines - how awful! To make matters worse, next week is spring break so he'll have to wait yet another week for class.

Since my accomplishments have been so limited this week, I've decided to go on a quick road trip - all by myself - to visit my dear friend, Connie! I'll be leaving Friday afternoon, coming home Sunday. It's just about a four-hour drive, not bad at all. I'm anxious to see her new needlework designs she's working on, and just spend some quality time with a friend who is so sympatico.

I haven't had my camera out to take pictures of my stitching, so I'll leave you with some of our Vegas pics. These were taken at the Bellagio, a wondrous place! First is the chocolate fountain where the varieties of chocolate flow from the ceiling into hand blown glass bowls.
