The Good News Is

The kids are feeling better. Headache and fever - gone. Congestion and cough - still hanging on. But normal activities have resumed.

The great news is that the twins have no wisdom teeth! No worries about them erupting and shifting newly straightened teeth, no visit to the oral surgeon, no fee to be paid! Woot! A break at last! Lol.

Sadness and happiness are so often intermingled in our lives. Saturday DH and I traveled to Lewiston to attend the memorial service for my dear Aunt Katie, one of my favorite aunts. She brought laughter and life to every get-together. My sisters and I often went to Grandma's house at Christmastime with a bag packed, just in case she invited us to stay with her, our uncle, and our cousins at their house in the country. What fun to play in the snow, and be entertained by the cousins' hijinks! So many great memories to treasure.

I've done a bit more stitching on "Fine Linens" and will share progress pictures soon.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Fine memories do help us through hard times: I keep this in mind and try to give some to my kids just in case...
Take care!

HURRAY...that everyone's better and the twin's have no wisdom teeth!!

I had a dear Aunt Katie as well (hence my daughter's name), it is such a wonderful thing to remember the ones that shared our lives in such a positive and happy way. Hugs to you on your loss.

No wisdom teeth? Wow, that's got to be very uncommon. Happy for all of you - that's NOT a fun surgery!

So sorry about your aunt, but you do have nice memories about her that will always stay with you.
How did the boys luck out without wisdom teeth? I think Sean's going to have to get his out sooner or later.
