Fine Linens by Liberty Street Designs
32 ct. gray linen
Thread Gatherer silk floss
beads from stash
Kreinik #4 braid 032
I finally finished stitching on the beads and rushed to take a quick pic to share with all of you. The second picture shows the beads a little better with a bit of the shimmer of the Kreinik metallic. I'll be stitching the companion piece, "Silk Threads" on the same piece of fabric with most of the same threads. But first I"ll be going back to my hardanger doily now that I've found the stitching instructions for it.32 ct. gray linen

Look at the great papers I found at Craft Warehouse yesterday! I'll probably be using them on my Ikea drawers real soon.
Oh, Katrina, I've been going through an Alison Weir phase too lately. Currently her book on Eleanor of Aquitaine is on my nightstand. Over the last few months I've read "The Princes in the Tower", "The Six Wives of Henry VIII", "Elizabeth the Queen", and listened to on cd "Isabella, She-Wolf of France, Queen of England". Great reading!

Have you ventured into Art Trading Cards yet? I think if you like to do paper things like me, you'll like these also. I have a bunch of them on my blog. The kids would love them too.
What a beautiful finish Von!!

Hope you son is doing better - I just read about the broken arm!
Von, this is by far, the most beautiful piece I've seen in a very long time. It's a treasured heirloom right now. Somebody better take care with it and hand it down the line! What a wonderful job of stitching! Congratulations!
Wow -- Fine Linens is stunning! Does the chart call for beads? I know I have it somewhere, LOL ... Your color choices for threads and fabric really make this piece stand out -- lovely.

That is some hard-core historical fiction! What a list. Judy at Crazee4books blog reads similar titles.
You are fortunate to have Spring Weather. We have a gloomy 17 degrees & it is really cold. I think we are supposed to get another inch of snow & then, a warm-up this week-end.
I could do with some 45 degree weather. 50 would be nice, too. Both our boys are in the week-end play "high school musical". It runs next week-end, too.
That is a very pretty finish! I love it :D And the papers are great, I love Craft Warehouse for getting paper, they have a good selection.
Wow, your Fine Linens looks amazing all finished - way to go! Sorry for the late comment ... I'm sneaking some blog commenting in quick while Mum's yapping on the phone ;)
