zzzzzzzzzzzz

That's how my Sunday was spent - in bed sleeping. A cold bug got hold of me and I was so tired. So while my family went off to church, I crawled back in bed for a really nice snooze, then another one later in the afternoon. I even slept well all night! This morning I haven't sneezed and my head doesn't feel as full as it did yesterday. So perhaps the worst is over.

No stitching this weekend. Last week during my lunchtime, I worked on the Shepherd's Bush ornaments, but didn't make enough progress to warrant a progress pic.

DH brought me a "gift" from the office on Saturday that should make part of my life easier - a scanner/printer. It's not the type that I could put a piece of needlework on and scan, but I can make copies for the kids' schoolwork. With two boys in one grade, that will help a lot! No more quick runs to Office Depot to make copies. :)

Today will be catch up day for the homeschooled kids. Every now and then the regular schedule has to be set aside to get all the assignments caught up and graded. We all tend to get distracted by other things that are much more fun. . . so I'd better get on with it! :D

Good going on the new machine. no more running to make copies. Just stock up on ink cartridges.

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better - sounds like you took the right medicine early on - lots of rest!

I love my scanner/copier, its just so much easier to run off a quick copy of something.

Sleep really works wonders on bugs! Glad you feel better.
Your cards are really pretty. Good job. Have you heard about digital scrapbooking? I ran across a blog and it looks like fun with less mess.

I can SO understand that it is sometimes difficult to stick to the schedule!
I hope your cold is gone, and congratulations on your new scanner!

Amen to schedule changes....I have our afternoon/evening schedule posted on the refrigerator, so that my kids will stay in line...LOL! Well I guess they keep Mom in line because last night all three big ones kept telling me ~ "Mom you're off schedule" ~ YIKES was I....I played catch up all evening and didn't sleep well for it! Believe me I understand!
Hope your cold is better...those are the one bad things about the approaching season, flu and colds...yuck! Get well!!
