More Papercrafts

I've been having much too much fun the last couple of days. Yesterday's birthday lunch with the girls, then in the evening I had stamp club. We made these two cards, both have a ribbon tied around a piece of cardstock. That is the hardest part of the entire process! You'd think a bunch of grown women could hold a piece of ribbon on the paper and tie a knot. Actually, I think we all could use one more hand - that would come in handy for all kinds of things wouldn't it?!

This morning I made this little pocket to hold a gift card for a baby shower. The honoree is our own delightful Barb, my dd's sister-in-law, who is due with her first child (a girl) in early November. These pockets are so quick and easy, just fold a square of paper, decorate, and voila! Love it when things are quick and adorable. :D

Now I must tend to all the things that have been pushed aside for my fun. There's lots of schoolwork to correct and laundry to tend to. I hope you have some fun times planned for this weekend!

Pretty cards! I haven't stamped in ages...

BTW, here's a stamper's blogger you may know, but it's *very* good: http://papertrufflez.typepad.com/paper_trufflez/
She's a staple on Splitcoaststampers...She's adorable and her cards are gorgeous!

What wonderful cards you have made! Isn't it fun to make something that can be finished in a short time? As much as I love stitching, I can appreciate whipping something together in just an hour or two.

You must let me know the name of the shrub with the bluish-purple flowers. That colour is absolutely gorgeous!

Von your cards are awesome!! Really beautifully made - I bet you had loads of fun. I also enjoy making cards but have been doing more stitching these days. Glad you liked my favours - my friend (the Bride) e-mailed me really really excited to say she is so happy with them as I mailed her a photo - so I am just very relieved ... its such a responsibility doing crafts for a Wedding - I am always v. nervous but relieved when all works out according to plan.

Enjoy your day.
Love

Oh, I love those cards - something I can inspire to! Love the crazy quilt work too ... gives me more ideas as well, like I need them LOL

Thanks for the comments on my blog - I really do appreciate them. Must say, having a 15yo driver isn't too bad so far lots of "can I drive" everytime we hop in the car, and I try to let him as much as possible ... and so far so good :)

Hope you have another great week!
