This Week's SBQ

Today's SBQ was suggested by Angela and is:

How many cross stitch books do you own and how often do you use them?

Here is my collection of what I would call my cross stitch books, of which there are seven. Only four of them are true cross stitch books:

The Cross Stitcher's Bible (Jane Greenoff)
Mary Engelbreit Cross Stitch (Meredith Pub.)
2001 Cross Stitch Designs (Meredith Pub.)
Cartonnage Brode (Sophie Delaborde and Sylvie Castellano)

The others are embroidery stitch reference books and a Mary Engelbreit Christmas craft book which includes several cross stitch projects.

I haven't actually stitched a project from these books yet, but the A-Z book was indispensable to me when I was learning ribbon embroidery for a variety of projects done for my daughter's wedding five years ago. I do enjoy browsing through the others from time to time. Perhaps I'll stitch from them, and perhaps I won't, lol!

Your backyard and flowers are looking wonderful. I love sitting under an umbrella and eating outside on a nice evening.

Mary Engelbreit is so *fun*.

I think if you took Mary Engelbreit and multiplied it by Shepherds Bush, you'd get Cirque du Soleil. JMHO.
