More VS Trunk Show

It's a rainy, cloudy afternoon and I'm having a difficult time getting decent pictures, but what else is new? Perhaps it's the photographer! You knew that already. :)

This photo to the left is the Gazebo Roses Sampler. You really have to see these in person to fully appreciate all the detail!

Next is the Sweet Pea Gazebo Sampler with so many gorgeous blues, purples, and sparkly butterflies. I absolutely adore the little hardanger garden seat at the bottom!

For more information on these designs, as well as a much better picture, you can click on this link to the Victoria Sampler website.

I'll give this photographer thing another try later. Till then, I'm going to take advantage of the rainy day and get some stitches in Winter Banner!

Wow - You are very lucky to have the opportunity to inspect the goods! I always take advantage of attending trunk shows when they are in my area - it's fun to see the completed project (and it often spurs me to purchase something that I otherwise might not have. Thea is very good to send her designs out to needlework shops; not all designers do this.

I have to admit to always wondering what a 'trunk show' was - and now you've answered it :) I have to admit, I really adore the sweet pea gazebo one - perhaps because of the colours - and I agree with you about the hardanger seat at the bottom ... just beautiful :)

Hi Von!
I've just linked your blog for -eventually- more people to see. I must say that I don't understand very much what this trunk show consists about... So, every explanation will be welcome actually! How come some of these designs travel through the US? What is it for? Are there many?...
Thanks for the pics (and they ARE good!), and the links that I will explore soon...
Take care!

Wow!!!!!!! These are just so pretty!
Since I have done two learning series kits from VS I am itching to stitch more of their designs.
I am thinking of doing Heart Sweet bag, a freebie of theirs soon :o)
