Gemini Exchange Package Arrived!

Yesterday I found a wonderful package in my mailbox from Rachael in Germany. And although this exchange is meant to celebrate our Gemini birthdays and mine isn't for several weeks yet - I opened it!

Inside I found some really wonderful things.

First, there is that wonderful lace village. It's of the medieval Rodertor gate in Rothenburg, Bavaria, Germany. After doing a little google search, I've decided that I have to go there! Gorgeous. Below the gate are four skeins of beautiful German cotton floss in my favorite colors. Next Rachael added to my little scissor collection and included the cutest little bee fob. I caught Kirsten admiring the fob a little while ago; I think she's going to want one for her school scissors! Then to satisfy my sweet tooth is a package of dark chocolate covered marzipan. But as I said, I'm saving that for my actual birthday. I think I can resist temptation. :)

Thank you, Rachael, for giving me a taste of Germany, and a special scissor fob!

My exchange package will go out in tomorrow's post. I'll be running errands in that direction tomorrow. I hope the postal service is swift to deliver the package to its owner!

I am so glad you received your package. I was getting a little worried. Actually I started getting worried the day I put it in the mail. LOL I don't mind that you opened it already and I think you are a very stron person for resisting the chocolates:-)

Rachael really does know how to spoil a girl, doesn't she? Lovely gifts, Von. I think the entire Gemini gift exchange is a fab idea, by the way!

What a beautiful gift you received, Von. I LOVE the lace. Enjoy your gifts and you are a stronger person than me. Those chocolates would have been gone by now. :)

A beautiful exchange package, indeed! I love that she filled it with a few samples of Germany. And the bee fob is super cute! I'm not surprised that Kirsten has been looking at it longingly. Just make sure she doesn't end up swiping it. ;) (Not that I'm impuning her character or anything!)
